Play music and use the queue

Play tracks, line them up in the queue, and comment, share or download without leaving your page.

Play

Press play on any track, version or file. The bar at the bottom shows the artwork, title and artists, with previous, play and next. Previous and next only appear when there's a track that way.

Click the volume button to mute, and again to come back to your level. Hover it for the slider.

Switching to another version blends over in a third of a second instead of cutting.

Jump to a part of the song

Above a version's waveform, its parts are named: Intro, Drop 1, Break, Drop 2, Outro. Press one to play from its start. Aden reads the parts the first time someone plays the version. They show on the track, on share and review links, and on uploaded demos.

Use the queue

Click the queue button, with its count, to open the queue.

  • Click a cover, title or play button to jump to that track.
  • Press the ✕ on hover to take a track out.
  • Clear queue at the top empties it and stops playback.

Audio files from a transfer join the queue too, and their row links back to the transfer.

Act on what's playing

The … menu on each queue row, and in the bar for what's playing now, offers:

  • Go to track
  • Comment at the playhead time, with the comment box open and the time filled in
  • Open version, on any tab of the version card
  • Copy link and Share track
  • Download, the exact version you're hearing
  • All versions & downloads
  • Remove from queue

On a public share link, the menu only offers what works without an account: copy link, and download when the share allows it.
