Get feedback on your mix
Read notes on your mix's low end, drums, stereo, key, structure and loudness, measured against its genre.
Track feedback reads a mix and writes notes in plain words, each with the picture behind it and the tool that fixes it. It runs in your browser and uploads nothing.
Open it
- On a version: open its … menu, then Analyze and Track feedback, or type "Track feedback" in ⌘K.
- Without an account: open tools.aden.space/feedback and drop or record a track.
Pick the genre
Aden guesses the genre from the file name, the tempo and the groove, and marks it Guessed. Pick your own, or several when a track mixes styles. Any genre only flags what's wrong in every genre: clipping, phase and clashing keys.
An "Extended Mix" or "Club Mix" keeps its first and last 16 bars as the DJ intro and outro.
Read the views
- Notes: what to look at. Play a note from its moment, open it in the tool that fixes it, or press ✓ to keep it as intended.
- Map: where each issue happens over time.
- Range: each reading against the genre. Drag a band on the tone curve to try an EQ move.
- Master: what to put on your master and in which order, with settings for this track. Turn the knobs, untick steps you won't do, and Hear the changes.
- 3D: the spectrum over time.
The Mix score beside the genre says how close the mix sits to its genres. It's a quick read for sorting demos, not a verdict.
Keep working
- Add your own notes under the waveform, like comments.
- Save as track keeps your notes as timestamped comments on a new version.
- A label that declines your demo can send you its feedback this way. If you sent the demo from a track in Aden, their notes land on it as comments.
