Record a call and get notes

Record a session's call, get a summary and to-dos written for you, and read or search the transcript.

Record

Press Record in the call. Everyone sees who is recording. The recording lands in the session with its moments: who spoke when, screens, studio audio, files and marks. Click any moment to hear it.

  • The flag marks a moment so you can find it later.
  • Hold a thumbs up to your camera and the recording gets a "Good idea" mark. Your hands are read on your own computer; only the mark goes out. Switch it off in Devices.
Recording calls is on the Max plan.

Notes from the call

A few minutes after a recording stops, notes appear under the session's notes: a summary, the topics with what was said, and the to-dos with who took them and by when. What you wrote stays as it was. The menu beside the notes opens the recording or deletes the notes.

Read the transcript

Open a recorded call's Transcript to read each line under the name of who said it, search it, or click a line to hear that moment. On an older call, press Transcribe.

Max includes 5 hours of transcripts a month, then €0.50 an hour.

Notes for Zoom, Meet, Teams and others

Press Take notes on a session whose call is elsewhere, or type "take notes" in ⌘K. Aden records your mic and what your computer plays; no bot joins the call. In Chrome or Edge, pick the call's tab and tick the box to share its audio. Stop it from the recording bar, and the notes land on the session.

For organisations

  • In a paid organisation's session, the recording keeps screens and cameras too. Watch it from the session's files. It stays with the people in the session.
  • Owners and admins choose Record sessions in the organisation's settings: Off, Ask (records from the first host, then asks Keep it or Delete it) or Always.
