Make a short video
Pick a look and the part of the song you want, set the size and length, and export a clip ready to post.
Make the video
- Open the track's actions menu (the "…" on a track row or the track header) and choose Export video. On the phone, long press the track or open the "…" menu on the track page.
- Pick a look.
- Drag the window on the waveform to the part you want. It starts at the version's highlight when one is set. Press play beside it to hear it, or press Space.
- Press Export.
The final version is used by default; a picker switches to any other version with audio. A track with no audio yet shows Upload a version instead.
Size and length
The sliders button holds:
- Size: 9:16 for stories, 4:5 or 1:1 for the feed, 16:9 for YouTube.
- Length: 10, 20 or 30 seconds, or the whole song.
- Artwork: any of the track's covers, or a colour in its place.
- Grain: from none to twice the default.
- What shows: title, artist, waveform, aden.space and track details (status, priority, key, BPM). Details start off, so every look starts minimal.
Get the file
- On the web, the MP4 downloads when it's done.
- On the phone, the share sheet opens so you can post it or save it.
The arrow beside Export makes the story, feed and wide sizes at once, in one zip. Save image saves the current frame as a photo. Save to track keeps the video with the track's music videos.
The file is named after the song and keeps the credit in its details, even when the aden.space line is hidden.
