Build a DJ set

Play, reorder, sort and fill a playlist so every transition works, with key, BPM and energy at a glance.

A playlist shows every playable track end to end as one waveform above the running order, each as wide as it is long.

Play it

Click anywhere on the waveform, or hover a row's number and press play. The playlist plays from there and moves on by itself. Each row plays the track's latest version. Crossfade in the toolbar sets how tracks hand over to each other.

Put it in order

  • Drag a row by its grip. On a phone the grip is always there; on a computer it shows when you hover.
  • Sort reorders the whole list: harmonically (key and BPM, keeping your opener), by BPM, by key or by title. You can still drag afterwards.

Set key, BPM and energy

Each row shows its key and BPM in a small chip. Open it to set BPM, key, energy and the cue point. The Camelot code sits beside the key.

A row that mixes roughly out of the one above shows a warning icon after its chip: red for a clash, amber for a tight one. Hover it for the reason.

The toolbar shows the runtime, the BPM range and the number of rough transitions. On a wide screen the BPM and energy curve joins them.

Fill from your pool

  1. Press Fill from pool. Every track you could add opens beside the list, best match for the last track first.
  2. Press the plus on a row to add it, or use Fill to and pick a length, from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Fill only adds tracks that mix into each other, and never one that clashes with the track before it. Undo in the toast takes the whole run out. A search narrows what Fill picks from.

Keep notes

The playlist has a notes field anyone on the team can edit, for set notes or context.

Edit the details

The info sidebar on the right holds the title, description, visibility, tags, genres and a linked event (+ Event when there is none). The cover's edit button opens the playlist's Covers. A row's "…" menu has Open track and Remove from playlist.
