Premiere a video and publish to YouTube

Set the exact time a video goes live, publish uploads to your YouTube channel and read views and comments in Aden.

Set the premiere

At the top of the Music videos tab, set the Video premiere: the date and time the video goes live. It's separate from the track's release date, so the video can come out before, with or after the song. Picking a day sets the time to 18:00 until you change it. The ✕ clears it.

Until then, the track's public video page shows a countdown, and switches to the video by itself the moment the premiere arrives.

Publish to YouTube

  1. Connect your channel in your team settings under Integrations.
  2. On a video you uploaded to Aden, press the YouTube button on its card.
  3. Set the title, description and visibility, and publish.

The YouTube video is linked back on the card. Videos added as a link can't be published, since they already live elsewhere.

With a premiere coming up, you can upload now and keep it private: YouTube makes it public at the premiere minute, so a slow upload never makes you late.

Until Aden's YouTube connection is fully approved by YouTube, videos uploaded this way stay private on YouTube whatever visibility you pick.

Read the reactions

Once a video is on YouTube, Aden shows its views, likes and comments, read fresh from YouTube each time:

  • on the track's Analytics tab, under YouTube audience,
  • for every track on your team's Analytics, under Audience.

Each comment is marked positive, neutral or negative. That label is a rough guess from words and emoji, so sarcasm, slang and other languages can fool it. You see the latest 100 comments per video, up to 10 videos on the team page.
