Set up your venue's room

Upload a 3D copy of your real venue, hang its lights, and let crews and booked artists run the show.

A venue gets a digital twin of its real room in its world, behind its own door in town. Owners and admins of an organisation set up as a venue can add it.

Upload the room

  1. Export the room from Blender or SketchUp as glTF Binary (.glb), or scan it with your phone and export a .glb.
  2. In your world, open Edit world, then Room. Or search "Upload your room".
  3. Upload it. Aden guesses its size and puts its floor on the ground. If it looks off, set its units, size, turn and floor height.
  4. Press Save for everyone.

Hang the lights

  1. Walk in (search "Open your venue's room") and open Rig.
  2. Pick a fixture: moving head, beam, wash, laser, strobe, blinder, pixel bar, LED wall, CO2, flames, sparks or confetti.
  3. Look at where it hangs and press Place here. It lands on the truss, ceiling, wall or floor you're looking at.
  4. Nudge, turn, tilt or delete it, then save.

The light desk, saved looks and each song's light show run on your room's real rig. Your crew, your world's admins and artists booked to play there run the desk; everyone else watches.

Limits

  • One room per venue, up to 300 MB, 4 million triangles and textures up to 4096 pixels.
  • The room and your objects share 1 GB.
  • Up to 48 of each fixture, 10 LED walls and 240 fixtures in all. Replacing the room keeps its fixtures in place.
