Sign the beta agreement
See what the beta agreement covers, and sign it once for your team or business, right in Aden.
While Aden is in beta, everyone joining it signs the same agreement once, whether you join as a business or as an artist team.
What it covers
- Beta access during the beta period, at no cost to you.
- What Aden provides (setup, training, founder support) and what your team provides (real use, feedback, review calls).
- Your music stays yours. Aden only gets the licence it needs to host, stream and process it for you.
- Aden's apps stay Aden's. You agree not to copy them or take them apart to rebuild them, and not to share what you see in the beta (demos, calls, unreleased features, the roadmap) outside your team, during the beta and for 12 months after.
It doesn't stop you building your own tool independently, and it doesn't limit where you work. Your EU rights to study how software works can't be signed away and are kept.
Sign for a business
- Open your business's settings, under General. The Beta agreement card shows whether it's signed.
- Press Read the agreement to read it without leaving the page.
- Press Review & sign, read the document and type or draw your signature.
- Once signed, View the signed copy opens it with the signature certificate.
Business owners and admins only. Everyone else can still read it.
Sign when you join
- Through the business enquiry form: draw your signature and tick one box. It's signed in the name of the representative you entered.
- As an artist team: the Beta agreement step comes after the Terms of Service at signup. It shows the headline terms and signs with your name in a handwriting font. Press Draw instead to draw it.
- Through a writers camp link: you aren't joining the beta, so there's nothing to sign.
The same signature also accepts the Letter of Intent, which you can revoke any time from the beta dashboard. Your signature is saved to your profile, and the signed agreement shows under Account → Signed documents.
