Comment on a version
Pin a note to a moment or a section of a song, mention people, and attach voice memos or files.
- Open a track, go to the versions and pick the version you want to review.
- Choose where the note goes:
- Click the waveform to pin it to one moment.
- Hold ⌘ (Ctrl on Windows) and drag across the waveform to mark a section.
- Or use the clock buttons in the composer to stamp where the song is playing.
- Leave the time empty for a general note.
- Write your comment. Type @ and a name to notify someone.
- Press Enter to post. Shift and Enter starts a new line.
Your face marks the spot on the waveform. Drag it to move the comment to another moment.
Add a voice memo or file
Record a voice memo or attach a file to your comment. Hover a voice memo and press the captions button to write out what was said. A MIDI file plays right in the thread.
| Plan | Voice memos per version |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Air | 10 |

Drum ideas
Write about a drum ("the kick is way too boomy", "change the clap") and three new sounds appear under your comment, under Kick ideas or the drum you named. Click one to hear it, download it as a WAV, or open it in the tools to keep shaping it. It works for kicks, snares, claps, hats, crashes and rumbles.
