Find anything with ⌘K
Open search, jump to any track, team or setting, and dig deeper with deep search.
Search
- Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux).
- Start typing. Your tracks, albums, playlists, teams, tours and events show up as you type.
- Use the arrow keys and Enter to open one.
The filter pills under the box narrow the list: All, Actions, Settings, Teams, Organisations, and This Track (or album, playlist) when you are on one. ⇧→ and ⇧← switch between them.
Settings answer to plain words: type "change my password" or "set up Spotify" and the right page comes first.
Recent
Before you type, search opens on the last eight things you opened. Things you open often rank higher, and search learns what you pick for what you type. Clear recent at the end of the list empties it.
Row actions and hiding
Every row has a … menu with its own pages and actions. Press ⌘K on a selected row, or right-click it. Hide from search removes a row, with Undo. Type "hidden" to bring one back.
Click a section heading to fold it. It stays folded the next time you search, and opens again only when one of its results is exactly what you typed.
More than your workspace
- Aden website: pricing, the FAQ, the changelog and the legal pages, opened in a new tab.
- Tools: the free music tools. Type "key", "bpm" or "isrc" and the tool comes first.
- SoundCloud and your clouds: with SoundCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or Box connected, your uploads and audio files show up too.
Deep search
When quick results miss it, pick Deep search at the bottom. It looks inside lyrics, descriptions, version names, milestones, to-dos, documents, money entries, tours and events.
Mistyped an address?
A typo in an Aden link still gets you there. When it could mean several pages, the page not found screen lists the closest ones, including an artist's releases with a similar name.
