Create an account

Sign up for Aden, skip the waitlist with an invite code, and add your IPI number as you go.

Anyone can create an Aden account. Aden is in beta, so new accounts are let in by the Aden team unless you have an invite code.

  1. Open Register on aden.space.
  2. Fill in your name, email, phone number and a password. A checklist shows what the password still needs.
  3. Have an invite code? Click Have an invite code? under the sign-in buttons and type it in. You skip the waitlist, and you will know right away if the code is wrong.
  4. Confirm your email with the link Aden sends you.

You can also sign up with Apple, Google, Discord or Spotify. With Google, Discord or Spotify you still fill in the details step afterwards. With Apple you go straight in, and Hide My Email works.

Invited to a team? Use the link your team admin sent you. It adds you to the team as soon as your account exists.

Waiting to get in

Without an invite code, your account is created and the Aden team accepts you into the beta. While you wait, you can still open any collaboration, writers camp or session you were invited to. Creating a team opens once you are in.

Find your IPI number

Your IPI (or CAE) number identifies you at your collecting society. If you don't know it:

  1. Type your name and press the search icon in the IPI number field.
  2. Pick yourself from the matches. Each shows how many registered works it has, so you can tell people apart.
  3. Nothing found? Search again with the name you release under.

You can also leave it empty and add it later in your profile.

Verify your phone

Sometimes signup texts you a six digit code. Type it in to continue. One number belongs to one account.

  • The code works for 10 minutes. If it doesn't arrive, wait a minute and press Send a new code.
  • Check the number has its country code, like +32 470 12 34 56.
  • Number already on another account? Choose This is my number. After you confirm the code it moves to your new account, and the other account's owner gets an email.

Back up your recovery key

Right after signup, Aden shows twelve words that let you reset your password even without your email. Press Download and continue to save them, or copy or print them. See Change your password.

Sending a demo?

Some label pages let you send a demo without an account. With an account you hear back when they respond, keep the conversation in one place, and can attach tracks from your library next time. See Send a demo.
