Pitch a playlist of tracks
Send a whole playlist, or tracks you pick on the board, to a label, publisher or sync agency, and follow each track.
Pitch a playlist
- Open a team playlist and its actions menu, then choose Pitch to business. You can also add one from the playlist's Submissions page.
- Pick the label, publisher or sync agency, or add one that isn't on Aden yet.
- Add a note saying what the playlist is for, if you want, and send.
Every Aden track in the playlist goes along. Tracks from outside Aden are skipped.
Pitch tracks you picked
- On the Tracks board, select the tracks.
- Press Submit in the bar at the bottom.
- Name the playlist, add a note and pick the organisation.
Aden makes the playlist and sends it in one go.
Follow it up
The playlist's Submissions page lists every organisation it went to, with the status, note, send date, your contacts there, documents, linked emails and, once signed, the contract dates. A line under each says how its tracks are doing, like "3 shortlisted · 1 passed · 12 tracks". Playlist pitches also show on your team's submissions page next to tracks and albums.
Remove withdraws it. Tracks the organisation hasn't looked at yet go with it; tracks it already shortlisted, signed or passed on stay as their own submissions.
On the organisation's side
Submitted playlists sit above the submissions board as cards showing progress, like "4 of 12 reviewed". Each track has a play button and two controls:
- Shortlist marks a track to continue with.
- Pass declines it.
Click either again to undo. Signing a shortlisted track happens on the track's own submission, one click from its title. Albums are decided as a whole, so their tracks have no per track controls.
