Take licence requests on your tracks
Put a Request a license button on your public track pages, so businesses can ask to license a song.
Let music supervisors, agencies and brands ask for a licence straight from a track's public page. Each request lands on your board as a new card.
Turn it on
- Open Opportunities.
- Click the envelope button in the toolbar and switch on Take license requests.
Your public track pages now show Request a license, in the track's details. It's off by default.
One track at a time
Each track has its own switch, which wins over the board's. Find it on the track's Licensing tab, or right under the track on its public page when you can edit it. Turn requests on for the few tracks you license, or off for one you can't.
When a label is set on a track, the label's switch decides. Otherwise the artist team's does.
What a request looks like
A signed-in visitor picks which of their businesses is asking and says what it's for. You get a card in New, with the track pitched, their business as the counterparty and their name and email as the contact. Everyone on the board gets a notification.
Licences are deals between businesses, so someone without one is asked to create one first. Asking twice about the same track adds a note to the open card.
Follow what you asked for
Asked another business for a licence? Your Opportunities page lists it under Requested licenses in Display: the track, who licenses it, the stage, the terms and the signed contract.
