Desktop upload suggestions

What it is

Export a song from your DAW and the desktop app notices. A "Suggested" strip of cards appears at the top of Home, and a system notification tells you what it found. Each card is one file: a title you can type over, the status it starts in, tags, the folder choice where one applies, and a split button whose main half is what Aden guessed and whose menu holds the other places the file could go (new track, a version of a track you pick, a track's files, team files). The card's "…" holds the file itself: show in Finder, open, copy path, snooze, hide. The guesses:

• Upload: an export with no track on Aden yet becomes a new track. You can add tags first (ghost production, for a client, whatever you sort by), and include the project file that sits beside it.
• Add version: an export named after a track you already have becomes its next version.
• Start track: a new DAW project with no bounce yet becomes a track with no version, and the project goes in as its project files. The idea exists on Aden before the export does.
• Add file: artwork, a PSD or a contract named after a track goes into that track's files. A project file named after a track goes in as its project files.

When you start a track you can name it, pick the status column it lands in (idea by default) and tag it right there, with the same tag field and suggestions as the track page. Where a project sits in its own folder (named after the song, or small), the confirm offers that folder with its file count and size. A project saved straight into Downloads or Documents is offered alone. Folders over 2 GB start unticked and say what they cost. When the team does not have the room, the line says how much is needed and how much is left on the plan, the beta cap or the custom limit, and the folder cannot be ticked. When the file alone does not fit, the upload button is disabled.

A file inside a folder that already syncs to Aden (a linked track folder or a team sync folder) is never suggested: it is already on its way.

Every line has "open on web", which opens the track in the Aden tab inside the desktop app, not your browser.

Keeping it quiet

Nothing appears for the files already on your disk, only for what lands after the app is running. Random downloads that match nothing stay in Needs sorting. Each suggestion can be snoozed for 7 days or hidden for good, both with an undo. The Projects cog shows how many are parked, brings them back with "Show again", and switches the system notifications off. The strip folds from its heading like Projects and Recent.
