Registration details
The signup details step validates the invite code against the server and can look up the user's IPI number from MusicBrainz.
Finding your IPI number during signup
Your IPI (or CAE) number identifies you at your collecting society. If you don't know yours, type your name in the signup form and press the search icon in the IPI number field. Aden looks it up in the public MusicBrainz database and shows the matches it finds. Pick the one that's you, or leave the field empty and add it later in your profile.
Your invite code is checked as soon as you continue past the details step, so you'll know right away if it isn't valid.
Signup gate
Anyone can create an Aden account. A typed invite code skips the waitlist; otherwise staff accept the request from the existing beta queue. Waitlisted accounts still open collabs, camps, and sessions they belong to.
Demo accounts
On every public demo-submission surface, nudge artists to submit with a free Aden account for a faster response and follow-up; signed-in artists submit as their Aden account (identity + a track from their library) on org portals, while a quick no-account submission stays available where the recipient supports it.
