Demo accounts

What it is

There are two ways to send a demo on Aden: with a free account or, on some label/organisation portals, a quick submission with no account (just your name, email and a link).

Submitting with an account gets you a better outcome, so every public demo form now highlights why it's worth signing up. It's not about gatekeeping. The quick path stays available wherever a recipient offers it. It's that an account is how the label can actually get back to you.

Using it

When you open a demo-submission page while logged out, you'll see a short card explaining what an account gives you:

• Hear back faster: you're notified the moment they respond (accept, feedback, or a next step) instead of waiting on an email that may never come.
• Keep the conversation: replies and updates stay in one place.
• Get prioritised: labels rank demos from artists they can recognise and follow back.
• Submit in seconds next time: reuse your tracks, playlists and profile across every submission.

From the card, Create free account (or Log in) takes you to sign up and returns you to the same form afterwards.

• On a team profile (/profile/<team>/demos) and a track request (/profile/<team>/r/<tag>), an account is required. The incentive card is the primary call to action.
• On an organisation demo portal (/o/<slug>/demos), you can still submit quickly without an account; that form now sits below the incentive and is labelled "Or submit quickly without an account".

Submitting with your account on an org portal. When you open an org demo portal while signed in, the form switches to your Aden account automatically: your name and email come from your profile (no retyping), and you can attach a track straight from your library instead of pasting a link (paste a link too if you'd rather). The label sees it came from your Aden profile and can follow up with you directly.
