Account & auth
Identity, sign-in, profile, security, and account lifecycle for every Aden user.
What it is
Your Aden account is your personal identity across every team and organisation you belong to. It holds your name, avatar, email, timezone, and security settings: all separate from the teams you work in.
Aden is invite-only. Signing up requires a valid invite code. Once in, you can link a Google or Spotify account for one-click login, and optionally enable two-factor authentication to lock your account down further.
Using it
Sign up. Go to the register page and enter your invite code along with your name, email, and a password. If you were invited to a team, use the link your team admin sent you. It carries a one-time token that auto-joins you after registration. Click the confirmation link sent to your email before signing in.
Sign in. Use email + password, or click Continue with Google / Continue with Spotify. You stay signed in until you sign out, on desktop and mobile alike. Untick Keep me signed in on a shared device to be signed out when the browser closes.
Reset your password. On the login page click Forgot password, enter your email, and follow the link in the email that arrives.
Find your way around. Opening Account lands straight on your profile. Everything else lives in the searchable sidebar, grouped by area (identity, security, work, app experience), with Ambassador & referrals and Delete account as standalone rows at the bottom.
Everything about you is on one page. Profile holds your details, then folds the rest into sections you open on demand: terms you accepted, address & location, identity documents, contracting & invoicing, and your public profile & user card.
Update your profile. Go to Account → Profile. You can change your name, avatar, DAW, timezone, IPI number, PRO name, publishing name (your self-administered publisher name used on work registrations), ISNI, MLC member number, and public passport visibility there.
Manage your public profile. Go to Account → Public profile to control your public user card. The page people reach by scanning your passport QR code or opening your profile link. Toggle the whole profile on/off, and choose which of your teams are listed on it (each team has a show/hide switch). Private teams never appear on the public profile regardless of this setting. You can also open or preview the live page from here, and from the Public profile button on your dashboard. The page is also reachable from the Public profile entry in the sidebar user-account dropdown. The hover-card on any teammate's avatar links to their public page.
Change your email. Go to Account → Profile and enter a new address. A confirmation email goes to the new address. Click the link to apply the change.
Change your password. Go to Account → Password. You must enter your current password to confirm the change.
Connect or remove a login method. Go to Account → Login methods to link/unlink Google, Spotify, Discord, or Kakao identities. You must keep at least one method linked.
Enable two-factor authentication (MFA). Go to Account → MFA, scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator), and enter the one-time code to confirm. After MFA is enrolled, the app will ask for a code on each new sign-in.
Delete your account. Go to Account → Delete account. The system checks that you have no sole-owner team memberships first. Deletion is a soft-delete and irreversible from the UI.
Chart style
Switch dashboard charts between the classic look and a retro dithered-canvas look, per user.
