Artist identity
Optional per-act branding (persona, sound, visuals, tagline) that flavors release-plan drafts and chat, without blocking a release.
What it is
Identity is the act's personal branding: who they are, what they stand for, signature sound, visual motifs, colors, tagline, and the story every release should still tell. It lives on the team (the act), not on your user account, so two acts you run can sound different.
It is optional. Empty identity never blocks a release.
Vocalist, DJ, and producer can all fill the same fields. Pick any mix of roles.
Using it
- Open the act's Settings → Info. Identity is a section on that page.
- Answer the prompts (tagline, who you are, sound, visual motif, colors, references). Save. Clearing every field stores nothing.
- Open a track Release plans wizard or an existing plan. The identity card sits next to planning. New suggested posts and milestones pick up the tagline, who-you-are, sound, and visual notes.
- Team chat also sees the identity, so replies can stay in this act's voice.
Editing identity later does not rewrite a plan you already saved. The card still shows the live identity.
Website colors and press-kit chrome stay on Settings → Website. Those are page chrome, not this act's artistic identity.
