Team activity log

What it is

The activity log is your team's history: every time someone creates, updates or deletes something in the team, a row is written with who did it, when, and exactly which fields changed. Old value and new value.

It answers the questions that otherwise turn into an argument: who changed the splits, who deleted that version, who moved the release date, who invited this person.

The activity log is available on Ultra and above.

Using it

Open Team settings → Activity log. The feed is newest-first and scrolls back through your history.

• Filter by type to narrow to one kind of thing. Tracks, versions, collaborators, shares, invoices, invitations, role permissions and so on.
• Filter by action: created, updated or deleted.
• Filter by person to see everything one team member did.
• Filter by date to jump to the day something went wrong.

Click an entry to expand it and see every field that changed, with the previous value next to the new one.

What is logged

Creates, updates and deletes on your team's tracks, versions, albums, playlists, milestones, tasks, posts, interviews, collaborator splits, shares, distributions, release plans, events, tours, sessions, mixes, invoices, contracts, signature requests, downloads, media, invitations and role permissions.

Machine-written, high-volume records, notifications, fan activity, API usage are deliberately left out: they'd bury the human activity you're looking for.

How long entries are kept

Older entries are removed automatically each night. The page shows your team's window above the feed.
