# Send a version for review

Ask people to listen and approve or request changes, and see where each version stands.
A bounce goes out for a listen. Each person approves it or asks for changes, and the version shows where it stands: "Waiting · 2 of 5 listened", "Changes requested by Gustav" or "Approved by 3".

## Ask for a review [#ask-for-a-review]

1. Open the version's **…** menu and pick **Send for review**. To ask about the whole track, use **Send for review** at the bottom of the track's side panel, or ⌘K.
2. Pick people **On this track**, on **Your teams**, in **Your organisations**, or that you **Worked with before**. Each group has an "Everyone" row.
3. Type a name to find anyone on Aden, or type an email to **Invite** someone who isn't. Their email opens the review already signed in.
4. Send. Everyone gets a notification.

People on the track review it there. Everyone else gets a review link where they listen, comment and answer.

## Follow along [#follow-along]

* A reviewer's first play counts as listened.
* Open asks show in the **To review** widget on each reviewer's dashboard.
* Each reviewer picks **Approve** or **Request changes**, and can change their answer. A note lands in the version's comments and you're notified.
* Click the review chip on a version to add or remove people. Only the change is sent, so nobody is asked twice.
* **Withdraw request** takes back the asks nobody has played or answered.

On a new version, the menu offers to ask the same people again, and lists them before anything is sent.

## Keep an always ask list [#keep-an-always-ask-list]

Star the people and teams you always go to for feedback. On a team's **Collaborators** page, star someone from their card menu, or open **Always ask** in the toolbar. They sit at the top of **Send for review**; picking a team asks everyone on it.

## Not yours to review? [#not-yours-to-review]

Pick **Remove me from this review** in the version menu, **Not for me** on the review link, or the x on your **To review** row.
