# Find and preview samples
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/your-music/sample-libraries/find-samples

Search your libraries, filter by type, key and BPM, favourite samples and audition them from the keyboard.
## Find a sample [#find-a-sample]

In the desktop app's **Samples**, your libraries and packs sit down the left. Pick one to see only what's inside.

* Search by name above the list.
* Narrow with **Type**, **Key**, **BPM**, **Tags** and **Saved**. The options come from what's actually there.
* Click a column heading to sort. Click a pack name to show only that pack.
* **Group by pack** puts each pack's samples under its cover.

## Preview [#preview]

Press play on a row, or Space to play and pause. The up and down arrows play the previous or next sample, skipping presets and MIDI, so you can run through a folder of kicks without the mouse. Samples in a folder on your computer play at once; others stream from the cloud.

## Favourite [#favourite]

Hover a row and click the star, or pick **Add to favorites**. Favourites are yours alone. Turn on **Favorites** above the list to see only them.

## Use it [#use-it]

Hover a row and click download. It saves into the library's folder, or asks where. Drag it into your DAW from there.

To use a sample as a stem on a version, pick **Add stem**, then **From your samples**.

## On the web [#on-the-web]

Everything you sync also shows under **Samples** in the web app, on any computer. Pick a library chip, search, filter by one shots, loops, MIDI or presets, and play any row. Adding, sharing and deleting libraries happen in the desktop app.
