# Invite an artist to take over a part of a mix Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/your-music/mixes/guest-parts Give a guest a slot in your mix. They upload their part, and Build mix plays it in place. A guest mix, a closing hour, a b2b: hand a part of the mix to another artist and they deliver it straight into the running order. ## Invite them [#invite-them] 1. Open the mix and go to **Tracklist**. 2. Under **Guest parts**, press **Invite to a part**, or search it in ⌘K. 3. Enter their email, name the part, set how many minutes it runs and choose where it plays: at the start, or after a song. 4. Press **Add part**, then **Copy link** and send it to them. Aden doesn't email them for you. They open the link signed in with that email, or an account that uses it. ## What the guest sees [#what-the-guest-sees] Only their part: what it's called, where it plays and **Upload part**. They upload it as one recording and can replace it any time. They don't see the rest of the mix's settings. ## Build the mix with it [#build-the-mix-with-it] When a part shows **Delivered**, press **Build mix**. The part plays in its slot, blended in and out like a song. Parts still **Waiting** are left out, so you can build again once they arrive. ## Change or take back a part [#change-or-take-back-a-part] Open the part's **…** menu to change it, copy the link again, or **Remove part**. Removing it takes away the guest's access, and Undo brings it back for a few seconds. ## Related [#related] Blend the songs into one recording.
