# Import from your inbox
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/your-music/imports/import-from-email

Let Aden read your Gmail or Outlook for tracks, deadlines, demos and shows, and link emails to tracks.
Your inbox already holds your release plans, label deadlines, booking confirmations and demo submissions. Aden suggests them as things to import, and you choose.

## Turn emails into work [#turn-emails-into-work]

1. On your team's **Import** page, open the email scan from the Gmail chip, or connect an inbox from the **+** menu.
2. Click **Connect Gmail** or **Connect Outlook**, then **Sync & analyze**, and pick how far back: 7, 30 or 90 days. Or paste emails into **Paste emails** and click **Analyze**.
3. Review the suggestions, grouped into tracks, milestones, demos, and shows and events. Unsure guesses are flagged and unticked.
4. Import the items you kept ticked.

Running it again won't create duplicates from the same email.

## Link emails to a track [#link-emails-to-a-track]

Find where you submitted a song and what came back.

1. Open the track's **Metadata** page and go to **Submissions**, or use the email scan on the Import page.
2. Under "Find emails about your tracks", click **Scan**.
3. Aden lists threads that mention each track title, and whether the title is in the subject or the text.
4. Click **Link to track** to attach a thread, or **Open in Gmail** to read it.

Linked threads show on the track's **Submissions** tab. Aden keeps only a reference; the messages stay in your mailbox.
