# Invite someone from your DAW
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/your-music/daw-projects/invite-from-daw

Bring a collaborator into the project you have open, straight from the desktop app's menu bar.
When a project is open in Ableton, REAPER or another DAW that keeps its file open, the desktop app knows which one it is. If the project's folder is linked to a track, you can invite someone without leaving your session.

## Send an invite [#send-an-invite]

* **Menu bar popover**: click the Aden icon. The open project sits at the top with an email field. Type an address and press Enter, or tap someone your team has worked with.
* **Menu bar menu**: right-click the Aden icon. Under **Open projects**, pick **Invite collaborator…**.
* **Home screen**: the open project shows above your suggestions, with **Invite collaborator** in its **…** menu.

## What they get [#what-they-get]

Someone without an account gets an email. The link opens the track and lets them download the project right away. **Join Aden** signs them up, and the track shows in their account. Someone with an account gets a notification.

## Play together now [#play-together-now]

**Start session** beside the project starts a session about its track and opens its call, with a link to join or watch.

## A project that isn't linked yet [#a-project-that-isnt-linked-yet]

Choose **Find track** in the popover or on the home screen, or **Link to a track…** in the menu bar menu, and pick the track for the project's folder.

## Take an invite back [#take-an-invite-back]

Every invite stays listed with **Undo**. Undo removes the person from the track and stops their link and download working.
