# Run a remix contest

Link a request to a track, share its stems, and show the entries on a public remixes page.
Link a track request to one of your tracks and it becomes a remix contest with its own public page.

## Start a contest [#start-a-contest]

1. Create a track request and link it to the track.
2. Pick the stems or other files to share, and confirm you hold the rights.
3. Set a deadline in the brief.
4. Turn on public entries if you want everyone to hear the remixes.

The track's public page shows **Remix contest open**, linking to the contest page. Fans see the brief, the deadline and the stems, and submit right there.

## Remixes already on Aden [#remixes-already-on-aden]

If a remixer's version already lives on Aden as a track, they pick it when they submit. Either way, each entry asks to link to your original.

When you accept an entry, the remix shows as a linked track on both track pages, and approved entries on the contest page get an official remix badge. Rejected entries stay hidden.
