# Manage members and roles

Change what people can do, give them a title, pause or remove their access, and see who has been active.
Every member is either an admin or a member. Admins invite and remove people, change team settings and handle billing. Members work on the music but can't change who has access.

## Change a role or title [#change-a-role-or-title]

1. Open your team's settings and go to **Members**.
2. Open the person's row and pick their role.
3. Add a title such as "Producer" or "A\&R" if you like.
4. Mark someone as an artist to have them added as a collaborator on new tracks, when your team has that setting on.

## Pause or remove someone [#pause-or-remove-someone]

* **Deactivate** pauses a member's access but keeps their history. **Reactivate** brings them back.
* Removing someone ends their membership for good.
* To go yourself, choose **Leave team**. A team always needs at least one admin.

## See who has been around [#see-who-has-been-around]

The **Active** column on **Members** shows when each person was last in Aden ("Today", "3 days ago") and their streak of days in a row. Hover the flame for their longest streak and total active days.

Your own streak shows on your dashboard. A day counts as soon as you open Aden, and your streak only breaks once you miss a whole day.
