# Invite people to your team
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/work-together/teams/invite-people

Invite collaborators by email and decide what they can see before they join, from full access to a designer's view.
Invite anyone by email. You choose their role and what they can see before they join, so nobody gets more than they need.

## Send an invite [#send-an-invite]

1. Open your team's settings and go to **Members**.
2. Enter the person's email address.
3. Pick their role, and optionally which parts of the team they can see and when their access ends.
4. Send. They get an email and can accept or decline from the link, or from **Invites** in the app.

An invite expires after a week unless they accept it.

How many people you can invite depends on your plan. If an organisation manages your team, it covers your members and there is no seat limit.

## Invite from anywhere [#invite-from-anywhere]

When you pick someone for a task, a milestone or a signature and they are not listed, the picker offers to invite them by what you typed. You can also invite someone straight from a task's assignee picker; they are assigned as soon as they join.

## Give a designer just what they need [#give-a-designer-just-what-they-need]

Pick the **Designer** preset when you invite them, or tap it in a member's access editor. They see artwork, media, project files, tasks, comments and basic track info, and nothing about money or analytics. **Content planner** does the same for whoever prepares your posts. Add an end date to give access for a set time.

Working with a design studio through an organisation? Link it as a design studio and its people see your design files and show dates, nothing else.

You can also ask the team chat: "give Sarah designer access for 3 months". It shows a card with the change, and nothing happens until a team admin confirms it.

<Callout>
Custom access and end dates need a plan with custom permissions. Picking a role works on every plan.

## Invite people credited on your tracks [#invite-people-credited-on-your-tracks]

**Collaborators** lists everyone credited on your team's tracks who is not on the team yet, with how many tracks they appear on. Open someone's menu and choose **Invite to the team**. People without an Aden account are marked as such.
