# Invite people to a session

Add people or a whole team, set their roles and splits, and choose who hosts the session.
## Add people [#add-people]

1. On the session, or in the **Participants** tab when you create it, choose **Add people or team**.
2. Search your teammates, people credited on your tracks, anyone on Aden, or a whole team.
3. For a team, pick who from it comes, or leave it empty to add everyone.
4. Someone not on Aden yet gets an email field; their invite goes by email.

Invitees get an email with the time in their own time zone and **Add to calendar** buttons. Once they accept, the session shows in their Sessions.

## Set roles and splits [#set-roles-and-splits]

Each person is one line: their roles (engineer, producer, collaborator and so on) under their name and their share at the end. Click to edit either in place. **Split by revenue type** in the row's menu sets publishing, royalty, mechanical, sync, composition and master apart.

Click someone on the session page to see whether they answered, resend their invite, and edit their gear and IPI.

## Choose a host [#choose-a-host]

Press the crown on a person's row to make them host, like a coach or an engineer. They run the session's call. With nobody crowned, you host. On a session that already exists, use **Make host** under **People**.

## See who's around [#see-whos-around]

A green dot on someone's face means they have the session open right now or are in its call.
