# Write lyrics in a call
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/work-together/session-calls/lyrics-in-a-call

Write a song's lyrics together in a call, let Aden write down what you sing, and ask Aden for ideas out loud.
## Write together [#write-together]

Open **Lyrics** beside **Files** and **Chat** in a session's call. Everyone writes in the same lyrics at once. The song picker on top switches songs for everyone, or makes a new track from the name you type. The same lyrics are on the session page and in the Aden app.

## Let Aden listen along [#let-aden-listen-along]

1. Press the mic in **Lyrics**, or type "listen for lyrics" in ⌘K.
2. Sing. Aden writes down the lines, and a new try at a line goes under it as "or: …".
3. Talk about the lyrics and it changes them: "change 'we drive' to 'we run'", "drop the second line". Small changes happen at once with Undo. Bigger ones ask first.
4. Say "let's create a track called Midnight Drive" or "let's do Afterglow now", and it offers to make or switch the track.

It also marks the ideas you call good ("keep that"), so you find them again on the recording.

Only one person's Aden listens at a time. Others see who it listens with and can **Take over**. Every change keeps the old lyrics: the clock beside the song picker lists them, and **Restore** puts one back.

<Callout>
  Pro includes 1 hour of listening a month and Max 5, then €1 an hour.

## Ask Aden for ideas [#ask-aden-for-ideas]

Stuck on the chords or a part? Press **Ask Aden** in the call's controls and say it out loud. Aden knows the track's key, tempo and lyrics and answers one idea at a time. Chords it suggests land in the session's files as a MIDI clip for your DAW. Only you hear Aden.

In the desktop app it can also find sounds in your libraries and do things in your DAW with you, once you allow it.
