# Join with a code
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/work-together/session-calls/join-with-a-code

Give someone a nine character code to join a call, a session or a shared track. No link, no account needed.
Every call, session and share link has a code of nine letters and numbers, like **K7M-4QX-9TP**. Read it out loud, write it on a whiteboard or text it. Whoever has it can join in seconds, without an account.

## Give someone a code [#give-someone-a-code]

1. In a call, open **Share** and find **Code** under the call's link.
2. For a session, press **Share**. The code sits under the link and QR.
3. For a track, album or playlist, create a share link. Its code shows under the link.
4. Press **Copy**, or just read it out.

## Join with a code [#join-with-a-code]

1. Go to aden.space and press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows), then search "Join with a code". On your phone, search "Join with a code" in Aden.
2. Type the nine letters and numbers. Capitals, dashes and spaces don't matter.
3. The call, session or share opens. In a call, someone lets you in.

## Stop a code from working [#stop-a-code-from-working]

Press the new code button beside it. The old code stops working at once, and the link keeps working with the new one.

Turning off a link, like a session's public link, turns off its code too. A code nobody uses for 90 days stops working on its own.
