# Work with bots
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/work-together/chat/use-bots

Bring specialist bots into your chats, let the Orchestrator split up the work, and find bots that run in other apps.
The chat has bots next to people. Each one has a job:

* **Opportunity finder** finds venues, labels, studios and trips with the people to reach, and works your leads.
* **Marketing** plans release weeks and posts.
* **Analyst** answers with your numbers.
* **Bot maker** designs a new bot with you.

## Talk to a bot [#talk-to-a-bot]

1. Type @ and the bot's name in any chat, or open it from **Bots** at the top of the chat list.
2. An empty thread shows ideas to start with.
3. Press **Call** in a bot's chat to talk to it out loud.

## Let the Orchestrator split the work [#let-the-orchestrator-split-the-work]

Tell the Orchestrator what you want done. It hands each part to the right bot and sums up what came back. Its reply shows each bot's task and progress; open a row to see what it did. The dashboard's chat box and **Ask the Orchestrator** in ⌘K start here.

## When a bot can't answer [#when-a-bot-cant-answer]

A bot doesn't guess. It passes your question to the person its maker chose, or to your admins, and they reply to you. They can also turn the question into a skill so the bot knows the answer next time.

## See every bot [#see-every-bot]

**Bots** in the team and organisation sidebars lists every bot you can talk to, who made it, when it last ran and when you last used it.

## Bots in other apps [#bots-in-other-apps]

bot.aden.space lists Aden's bots and ready made briefs for jobs like planning a release or pitching playlists. Search by name, job or app. A padlock means it comes with a paid plan. Choose to use a bot in Aden, or install a brief in ChatGPT, Grok or Claude, which copies it and opens the app.
