# Paste or drop to add things

Paste a link or drop a file on a page and Aden puts it in the right place.
Copy something, open the page it belongs to, and paste anywhere outside a text field. Or drop files onto the page. Aden works out what it is.

## What lands where [#what-lands-where]

* **Track**: audio becomes a new version, an image the cover, a Spotify or Apple Music link a streaming link, and other links go to its links. Project files, contracts and statements go to the track's files, sorted into folders.
* **Album**: an image becomes the cover, audio becomes new tracks, store links become streaming links.
* **Session**: a Zoom, Google Meet, Teams or Discord link becomes the call, photos and videos go to its media, audio becomes a new track.
* **Covers and banners**: the file opens ready to crop and save.
* **Demo inbox**: each pasted link becomes a demo to review.

In the desktop app, drop a whole project folder on a track to add its project files and samples. Drop an MP3 and a project file together and the MP3 becomes a version.

Most changes can be undone from the message that appears.
