# Rename your track statuses

Give your team's five track statuses their own names, colours and icons.
Every track and album moves through five statuses: Idea, Progress, Ready, Released and Cancelled. Your team can rename each one and pick its colour and icon. Call Ready "Pitching" if that is how you work. The new look shows everywhere a status appears, on the web, desktop and phone.

You change how the five statuses look; you can't add new ones. Everyone on the team sees the same statuses. People outside the team see the defaults.

Team admins only.

## Edit one status [#edit-one-status]

* **On the board or list**: click a status name to rename it. Click its icon to pick a colour and icon. On your phone, long-press the status header.
* **From the sidebar**: right-click a status section and pick **All statuses**.

## Edit them all [#edit-them-all]

1. Open your team's **Settings → Statuses**, or search "statuses" in ⌘K.
2. Pick an icon and colour, and type a name. Leave it blank to keep the default.
3. Click **Save**.

To undo, use **Reset to default** on one status, or **Reset all to defaults** in settings.
