# When your connection drops
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/start-here/offline

What Aden does when you lose the internet, and how it picks up again once you are back.
Aden keeps working through a short drop and catches up by itself once you are back online.

## While you are on a page [#while-you-are-on-a-page]

1. A **You're offline · showing saved data** bar appears at the top.
2. Lists and pages you already opened keep showing what they last loaded.
3. Anything you click or save waits instead of failing. It goes through as soon as the connection returns, so there is no need to click again.

## Opening Aden without a connection [#opening-aden-without-a-connection]

If you open or reload Aden in your browser while offline, you see **You're offline** instead of the browser's own error page.

1. Check your wifi or mobile data.
2. Aden reloads by itself once you are back online. Press **Try again** to check sooner.
