# Read your notifications
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/start-here/notifications/read-notifications

Open the bell, find an older notification, and keep the latest ones on your dashboard.
## Use the bell [#use-the-bell]

1. Click the bell at the top. Unread notifications are bold with a dot; read ones are dimmed.
2. Click one to jump to where it happened.
3. Hovering a notification marks it as read. **Mark all as read** at the bottom clears the rest.

To find an older one, type in **Search notifications** under the title.

When a track is out, its notification shows the cover and a button that opens the track's public page.

You are also told when your access changes: removed from or re-added to a team, a new role, or removed as a collaborator on a track, album or playlist. So you always know why something disappeared.

## Turn on notifications in this browser [#turn-on-notifications-in-this-browser]

A yellow bell with a slash means this browser gets no desktop notifications. Click it and choose **Allow**.

If your browser blocked them, click the site icon in the address bar, set Notifications to Allow, then click the bell again. This works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and in Safari when Aden is added to the Dock or home screen.

## Keep them on your dashboard [#keep-them-on-your-dashboard]

1. On your dashboard, click **Customize** and add the **Notifications** widget.
2. Click a notification to open it. The check in the widget's title marks them all read.

On a team's dashboard, the widget shows only that team's notifications.
