# Turn on zero data retention

Make Aden's AI use only providers that keep none of your prompts or replies and never train on them.
With zero data retention on, Aden's AI features only use providers that keep nothing you send and never train on it. It is off by default.

## Turn it on [#turn-it-on]

* **For yourself**: **Account → Privacy**, then switch on **Zero data retention**. In the phone app it is under Account, Safety.
* **For a team**: the team's **Settings → Chats**. Team admins can change it.
* **For an organisation**: the organisation's **Settings → General**. Owners and admins can change it, and it then applies to every team the organisation holds.

While it is on, an AI feature that has no zero retention provider stops working, rather than send your data somewhere that keeps it.
