# Edit your profile

Change your name, picture, timezone and the industry numbers that follow you onto credits.
Your profile is how teammates see you, and it fills in your details on credits, registrations and contracts.

## Update your details [#update-your-details]

1. Open **Account**. It lands on **Profile**.
2. Change what you need: name, avatar, timezone, DAW, IPI number, PRO name, publishing name, ISNI, MLC member number, LinkedIn, SoundBetter and your own links.
3. Open the folded sections below for your address, identity documents, invoicing details and terms you accepted.

Changes save as you go.

## Change your picture [#change-your-picture]

Hover your photo, on your profile or at the top of your home dashboard, and open the **⋯** menu. **Change** uploads a new one. **Remove** falls back to your initials.

## Message someone from their profile [#message-someone-from-their-profile]

When you have worked with someone, on a shared team, organisation or track credit, their public profile shows a chat button beside **Share**.
