# Protect your account

Sign out a lost device, spot fake emails with your own code, and lock Aden when you step away.
All three live in **Account → Security**. On your phone: **Profile → Account → Security**.

## Sign out other devices [#sign-out-other-devices]

Signing out only ends the device you are on. To cut off a lost phone or a shared computer, pick **Sign out other devices**. Every other browser, phone and Aden app signs out within the hour. The one you are using stays signed in.

## Set an anti-phishing code [#set-an-anti-phishing-code]

1. Choose a personal code of 4 to 20 characters, like sunshine42.
2. Save it.

Every email Aden sends you includes it, so a message without your code isn't from us.

## Lock Aden when idle [#lock-aden-when-idle]

1. Turn on the inactivity lock.
2. Choose a timeout, from 1 to 480 minutes.
3. Set a PIN, or use biometrics where your device supports it.

After that much idle time, Aden asks for your PIN. Team admins can require the lock for all members in the team's security settings.
