# Sign in with a passkey
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/start-here/account-security/passkeys

Use Face ID, Touch ID or Windows Hello to sign in and confirm important actions.
A passkey lets you sign in on a device with your face, fingerprint or device PIN, instead of typing a password.

## Add a passkey [#add-a-passkey]

1. Go to **Account → Security**.
2. Under **Login methods**, add a passkey and confirm with your device.

Signup offers the same right after you create your account, on devices that support it. **Not now** skips it.

## Confirm important actions [#confirm-important-actions]

Some actions ask you to confirm it's you first: deleting your account or a team, creating or revoking API keys, changing bank accounts, transferring a catalogue, signing for someone else, and removing a passkey.

Confirm with your passkey. No passkey? Use your authenticator code, or add a passkey right there. You won't be asked again for five minutes.
