# Streaming links
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/release/streaming-link-resolution

The "listen on" row under a released track or album, resolved live from each streaming platform's own API by ISRC (tracks) or UPC (albums), with no data aggregator and no cost per view.

## What it is [#what-it-is]

Once a release is out, its public page shows a row of buttons: Spotify, Apple
Music, Deezer, Tidal, SoundCloud, YouTube, Amazon Music. Aden finds those links itself from
the track's ISRC, so you do not have to paste them in, and they stay right when a
release moves or comes back.

The same links go into your email campaigns. A campaign sent a week after
release carries the links as they are on send day, not as they were when you
wrote the draft.

## Using it [#using-it]

1. Put the **ISRC** on the track (Tracks → the track → Metadata). Everything
   below keys off it.
2. Publish the track and let the release date pass. Before that the page shows
   the pre-save section instead.
3. Open the public track page. The buttons appear as each platform confirms the
release. They can take a day or so to catch up after a release goes live.

**Filling the form.** On the track's Metadata → Details tab, **Find links**
runs the same lookup and fills any empty streaming-link row from the ISRC in
the form. Rows you already filled are left alone. Save to keep the result.

**Adding a link yourself.** Pandora has no public lookup, so it only appears
if you fill it in under the track's streaming links. Anything you paste for a platform Aden already found is kept as a
backup: the platform's own answer wins, because it follows takedowns and
re-releases.

**Fixing a link from the page itself.** On a released track's public page,
anyone on the team and any collaborator on the song sees **Find links** and
**Edit links** under the buttons. Find links runs the ISRC lookup and saves
what comes back; Edit links opens the same fields as the metadata form.
Neither needs a trip back into the dashboard.

**When a platform is missing.** Visitors see **Report a missing link** instead.
It asks every platform again, ignoring what Aden had cached, and saves anything
new: usually the release had simply not propagated when the page was first
opened.

**Sending everyone to one place instead.** Set a **custom listen url** on the
track (a smart link, a download gate, your own landing page) and it replaces
the whole row with a single button. A URL that points straight at a platform
Aden already knows (a Spotify or Apple Music link) is treated as that
platform's link instead, so the rest of the row still appears next to it.
