## What it is [#what-it-is]

Run your playlists like a curator. Schedule a track to be added to a specific
spot for a set period, a week, a month, or indefinitely, and schedule it to
come off again later. Every change is recorded, so you can look back and see
exactly how a playlist looked at any point in time versus how it looks now.

When demos land in your inbox you can drop them straight into a playlist slot,
either permanently or for a limited time. And you can set rules so that the
moment a track releases, yours, or any team's in your organisation, it gets
added to the right playlists automatically.

This is an Ultra feature.

## Using it [#using-it]

**Schedule a change.** Open a playlist and click **Planning** (the calendar icon
in the playlist header, or the "Planning" item in the playlist's context menu) to
open its dedicated planning page. On the *Scheduled* tab pick **Add** or
**Remove**, choose a track from the searchable track picker, pick the date it
should happen on a calendar, and (for an add) an optional date to take it off
again. Upcoming changes are listed underneath and can be cancelled any time.

**See the history.** On the *History* tab you get a timeline of every add and
removal. Pick a date in "Show membership as of" to reconstruct the exact
tracklist as it stood on that day.

**Place a demo.** In your team's demos, open a demo's menu and choose **Add to
playlist**. Pick the playlist and the spot (top or bottom), and either leave the
duration empty to keep it on indefinitely or set a number of days. The demo is
turned into a track and accepted automatically.

**Auto-add on release.** On a playlist's *Auto-add* tab, add a rule: choose
whether it watches a single team or a whole organisation, where new releases
land (top or bottom), how long they should stay, and an optional genre filter.
From then on, every matching release is added for you.
