# Send a transfer

Bundle files from your computer or your songs into one download link and send it to people or a team.
## Send files [#send-files]

1. Go to **Transfers** for your team and press **New transfer**.
2. Add files. You can mix both ways in one transfer:
   * **Upload**: drop files on the page, or press **Upload** to pick them.
   * **From a song**: open the chevron beside **Upload**, choose **From a song** and pick one of your songs. Every file stored for it is added at once, with no new upload.
3. Remove any file you don't want with the ✕ on its row.
4. Add a title, a password, your own link address or a message if you want.
5. Under **Add recipients**, pick team members, people credited on your songs, or type any email address.
6. Press **Create transfer**, then copy or open the link.

You can press **Create transfer** while files are still uploading. The transfer goes out the moment the last one lands.

## Send files you already have in Aden [#send-files-you-already-have-in-aden]

1. Open your team's **Documents** page.
2. Tick the files and press the send icon in the selection bar.

The new transfer opens with those files attached. Nothing is downloaded or uploaded again.

## Send to someone who isn't on Aden [#send-to-someone-who-isnt-on-aden]

Type their name when you add recipients. When Aden doesn't know them, it offers to find the email address they publish on the web. Add it and send: they get the transfer by email, with a way into Aden.

On the desktop app you can also drop files on the drop shelf and type something like "send transfer to Kim Laurent".
