# Open a playlist for submissions
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/release-share/playlists/open-for-submissions

Let artists pitch their tracks at a playlist you curate, and place the ones you like in one step.
Artists pitch a track at a specific playlist you curate, the way Groover and similar platforms work.

## Open the playlist [#open-the-playlist]

Open the playlist, then its visibility menu, and choose **Open for submissions**. The playlist becomes public and shows as a tile on your public demo page.

An organisation's own open playlists show on its demo portal. To add playlists from its teams, go to **Settings → Website → Playlist pitch targets**.

## How artists pitch [#how-artists-pitch]

1. On your demo page, they tap one or more playlist tiles.
2. They press **Follow on Spotify to submit**. Connecting Spotify follows every playlist they picked and makes them a lifetime fan of your team, so your new releases save to their library.
3. They fill in the demo and send it. Each playlist gets its own submission.

## Review pitches [#review-pitches]

Pitched demos show **Pitched to** and the playlist's name in your demo inbox.

* **Add to playlist** places the track and emails the artist a link to follow the playlist.
* **Accept** emails the artist to create an account, or open their track, and add everything about the song: artwork, codes, audio and plan.

## Track requests [#track-requests]

A track request can also aim at one playlist with **Pitch at a playlist**, and ask for the submitter's own playlist link. Those use the request's own rules instead of the Spotify follow.
