# Import playlists
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/release-share/playlists/import-playlists

Copy whole playlists from your Spotify account or from pasted links into Aden, tracks included.
Importing makes one Aden playlist per source playlist, for when your playlists already live somewhere else.

## Import from your Spotify [#import-from-your-spotify]

1. Go to **Playlists** and press **Import**.
2. Connect your Spotify account.
3. Tick the playlists you want. A search box helps with long lists.
4. Import.

To import a Spotify folder, tick the playlists inside it from this list. Folder links can't be read.

## Import from links [#import-from-links]

1. Go to **Playlists** and press **Import**.
2. Paste any number of playlist links, one per line or as a block of text. You can also paste a page address, like a curator page or a blog post, and Aden lists every Spotify playlist it links to.
3. Check what was found (name, cover, track count, owner) and tick what to import.

You can import up to 25 playlists at a time. Links Spotify won't open, because they are private or deleted, are counted separately. If one playlist fails, the rest still import.

A Spotify playlist link in chat, ⌘K or the desktop sidebar also offers to import it.

## What you get [#what-you-get]

Imported playlists are private until you make them public. They are copies: they don't sync back to Spotify. To keep a Spotify playlist updated from Aden, see [Sync to streaming services](/docs/help/release-share/playlists/sync-to-streaming).
