# Follow up on a pitch
Source: https://docs.aden.space/docs/help/release-share/label-pitches/follow-up

Set a reminder to chase a label, then send a ready written follow-up from your own inbox when it's due.
Labels often go quiet. A reminder makes sure you chase at the right time, with an email already written.

Once a track is marked ready, its versions page offers to send it to labels, and a **Labels** panel in the track sidebar shows every pitch and where it stands.

## Set a reminder [#set-a-reminder]

1. Open the track's **Metadata** tab and find the label under submissions.
2. Choose **Remind me to follow up**.
3. Pick **How often** (weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly or every 2 months), the **First nudge** and who you talk to at the label.

## Send the follow-up [#send-the-follow-up]

When a nudge is due, you get a notification.

1. Open the submission's menu and choose **Send a follow-up**.
2. Read the draft. The track, the label and how long ago you sent it are filled in.
3. Press **Send**. With Gmail connected, it goes out from your own address without leaving Aden.

The reminder counts the chase and schedules the next one. The label's reply comes back on the track.

Without a connected inbox, use **Copy** or **Open in email app**, then **I sent it** to move the reminder on.

A second chase is worded differently from the first, so it never reads like the same message pasted again. Prefer your own words? Edit the draft and press **Save as my template**: every future follow-up starts from it.

<Callout>
  Mark the submission accepted or rejected and the reminder clears itself. Aden never emails a label without you pressing send.
</Callout>
