# Get found on Google

Connect Google Search Console to see what people search to find you, and submit your sitemap.
Your analytics show what people did after they arrived. Google Search Console shows what happened before: what they typed into Google, how often you appeared and how often they clicked. Aden only reads it; it can't change anything there.

## Connect Search Console [#connect-search-console]

1. Open **Analytics** and go to the **Search** tab. Organisations find it on their **Analytics** page.
2. Click **Connect Search Console** and sign in with the Google account that owns your property.
3. If one of your verified domains matches, Aden picks it. Otherwise choose the property from the list.

No property yet? Add your domain in Search Console first, using the steps below.

## Read it [#read-it]

* **Clicks**, **impressions**, **click through rate** and **average position** for 7, 30 or 90 days, with the change on the period before.
* **Top searches**: what people typed, with your position for each.
* **Top pages**: which of your pages Google sends people to.
* **AI search visibility**: when you show up in Google's AI Overviews.

Google's data runs about two days behind, so the range ends two days ago. Pick another property or **Disconnect** from the bar above the numbers at any time.

## Submit your sitemap [#submit-your-sitemap]

Every verified domain has its own sitemap. The Google icon on the domain's row in **Domains** walks you through it:

1. Add the domain to Search Console as a **Domain** property.
2. Copy the record Google shows to where you manage your domain, then verify. Bought the domain through Aden? Email us the record and we'll add it.
3. Submit the sitemap address in **Sitemaps**.

Give each domain its own property.
