# Invite friends by email

Send your referral link to up to ten people at once, with a note in your own words.
Aden emails your invite for you, carrying your referral link, so when your friends sign up, it counts for you.

1. Open **Invite friends** from your user menu, the help card in the sidebar, or **Invite by email** on **Account → Referrals**.
2. Type or paste up to 10 email addresses, separated by commas.
3. Add a note if you like. It's quoted in the email under your name.
4. Send.

You're told how many went out, and how many were skipped because the person already has an account or unsubscribed from our emails.

Prefer to send it yourself? The same dialog shows your link and its QR code. People who sign up through it appear on your referrals page.
