# Improve your caption

Score your caption for a platform, see what to change, and get rewrites in your own voice.
## Test it [#test-it]

1. Under the preview, open **Caption test** and pick one of the post's platforms.
2. Read the score out of 100 and the list of what to change: a stronger first line, naming the song, asking for one thing, fewer hashtags.
3. Edit and test again. Each platform has its own checklist, so the same caption can score differently on TikTok and X.

## Rewrite it [#rewrite-it]

* **Remix** under the test rewrites the caption against the test's findings, in your voice, using only facts already in the post. It never invents a release date or a story. Take it with **Use this caption**, or leave it.
* The sparkle **Remix** above the caption, or on any unposted row in your queue, gives three takes, each with a different hook and scored for the platform. **Use** puts one in the caption; **More** gives three new ones.
