# Set up your fan program

Give fans a status they earn by following and sharing, and unlock perks like first listens and presale codes.
Every artist has a fan status fans earn with points. They get points for things like connecting Spotify, following you on Spotify, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, using your song in their story, joining your mailing list, and sharing to a fan feed. At the threshold, they unlock the status.

## Set it up [#set-it-up]

1. Open **Fans → Fan program** in your team.
2. Rename the status if you like. It's "Superfan" by default.
3. Change the points threshold, tune how many points each action earns, and add your own actions.

## Choose the perks [#choose-the-perks]

In the **Perks** card, set what fans get once they hold the status:

* **First listen**: a track they can play before it's out.
* **Demo to rate**: a track they rate with stars. Their ratings land beside your other promo answers in **Campaigns**.
* **Presale code**: one code, shown beside your next three shows.

Fans below the threshold see the perks locked under their progress. Once they unlock the status, their page turns into a pass with your name, the date and their member number.

Search "fan perks" or "presale code" in ⌘K to get there quickly.

## Share it [#share-it]

Fans follow their progress on your fan status page, linked from your profile.
