# Run a contest

Run a fan giveaway where fans earn entries by following, saving and sharing, then draw winners.
A contest is a giveaway on its own public page. Fans complete actions, like following you on Spotify or saving your album, to earn entries. The more they do, the better their chances.

## Create it [#create-it]

1. Open **Contests** in your team and click **New contest**.
2. Give it a title. The public link is made from it.
3. Describe what fans can win under **Prize**.
4. Pick the track or album it promotes. Its cover fronts the page.
5. Set when it runs and how many **Winners** you'll draw.

## Choose the ways to enter [#choose-the-ways-to-enter]

Under **Ways to enter**, switch on each action fans can take: follow on Spotify, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, save a track or album, sign up for your newsletter, share the contest link, or visit a link. For each:

* Set the **Points** it's worth.
* Tick **Required to enter** if fans must do it first.
* Tick **Repeatable** if fans can do it more than once, with a **Daily cap** if you like.

## Publish and share [#publish-and-share]

Press **Publish** to open it, or **Save draft** to keep it private. Share the link in posts, your bio and emails. Fans only need an email address.

## Draw the winners [#draw-the-winners]

Open the contest and press **Draw winner**, at the end or any time while it runs. Fans with more points get proportionally more chances. Winners are marked in the entries list.
